Dale Edwards
DALE EDWARDS - Chief Operating Officer Dale has been the Chief Operating Officer for Southwind since its inception in 1996. He has over 30 years experience in the construc- tion industry and has overseen ground-up, retrofit, in-store tenant finish and medical projects. Edwards was instrumental in the devel- opment of Wal-Mart’s demising program for their “dark Stores” and completed over 30 of these type projects. As the 2nd builder used by Wal-Mart for their banking program, he was an integral part of the development of that program completing over 200 in-store projects. He manages all estimating & production departments at Southwind.

Sam Cutbirth
SAM CUTBIRTH - Chief Financial Officer Sam has been the Chief Financial Officer for Southwind since joining in 1999. Prior to Southwind, Cutbirth owned and operated Sam C. Cutbirth, PC, a public accounting firm in Abilene. He has extensive experience in corporate and partnership taxation. He is responsible for the financial aspects of the business including banking relations, insurance & bonding. Cutbirth also assists with client development in the retail and banking industries. He is serving on the board of directors of First State Bank, BSA Bankshares and Church of the Heavenly Rest Foundation. Past boards include Big Brothers/Big Sisters, & Just People of Abilene. He is also a past President of Abilene Exchange Club.

Bill Elliott
BILL ELLIOTT - Senior Superintendent Bill Elliott has been a superintendent with Southwind since 1996. Prior to joining Southwind, Bill worked as a drywall contractor in the DFW Metroplex area. Elliott managed over 90 individual projects as the superintendent in charge of retro-fit build outs. Projects include: ACE Hardware, Dunlaps, and Wal-Mart. When placed over the in-store banking program, Elliott supervised completion of multiple projects per month totaling over 180 banks through 2008. Trusted by clients and respected by subcontractors, Elliott understands the key to achieving quality and on-time delivery is proper management of materials and subcontractors.

Brian Hovey
BRIAN HOVEY - Director of Operations Brian was named the Director of Operations for Southwind in 2007. Hovey joined Southwind in 1998 as the purchasing agent and devel- oped our nationwide group of vendors and subcontractors. In 2002, he became a project manager for in-store tenant finish projects and retrofits. In his five years as project manager, Brian completed over 150 successful projects. Hovey is also responsible for maintaining Southwind’s IT systems. He is trained in AutoCAD and is responsible for floor plan and elevation drawings on design/build projects.

Jason Beall
JASON BEALL - Jason is the Controller for Southwind. He joined the company in 2001 after several years as an accountant in the public accounting field. He is in charge of all bookkeeping, payroll, job cost and state & federal tax reporting for Southwind's nationwide projects.
